*NSYNC, composed of Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, was one of the most prominent boy bands to come out of the mid to late 1990’s. While their sound was mostly aimed at teenage pop tunes and many discredited them as being just another cog in the pop machine, there are many reasons why the group was much more than just that. This live performance here is a prime example why. Teen pop from the 90s was some of the best to come out of the genre simply because these young artists could put on an actual show. Whereas the majority of pop acts nowadays barely have a stage presence, *NSYNC, among many others, worked on choreography, outfits and putting together a cohesive, entertaining performance. This performance especially captures the groups immaculate ability to coordinate together and never miss a step, even with a stage that small. There’s some obvious playback but their live vocals sound incredible, along with them just looking marvelous in their matching football jerseys. The amount of effort put into this small concert appears to be astronomical, and it makes me wonder how hared they worked on major headlining tours.
