When it comes to The Maine, this album cover is the first that comes to mind. Not only does this happen to be my favorite cover of theirs, but it’s also one that I can’t seem to decipher. Granted, I also haven’t listened back to this record in a little while so maybe I should go take a listen. But I’ve always liked the idea of the solid black background and the two hands set in grayscale, with one seeming to be submerged underwater. The simplest explanation would be that the left hand is coming to save the drowning right hand, but something tells me it goes deeper than just that. Anyway, I’ll be spending my day listening to Lovely Little Lonely and I also encourage you to do the same.
