After so many years of not having a single clue as to what this album cover represents, I think I finally have some semblance of an idea. The broken light bulb was always a little confusing because I was constantly wondering why it’s still “lit up” by other lights reflecting off of it. And I think that idea could go in a few different directions. For one, it could be saying that even thought we’re broken and bruised, we still have the ability to shine and succeed. But the other thought that comes to mind is how we need the support of others in our darkest times, hence the other lights helping the broken bulb still stay lit in a sense. This cover is simple and reassuring, but also thought provoking and if you stick around to think hard enough, you might find something you really like.
