Miley Cyrus – “See You Again” – Live (Ten Years Later)
“See You Again” was originally released as Miley Cyrus’ first official single right at the end of 2007. The original song is rock pop, typical of the late 2000s. And it’s amazing; sure it’s a song from the times but even to this day it’s incredibly catchy and entertaining. It felt genuine back then and even after aging a whole decade, it’s still just as genuine. This performance from 2017 especially brings the song to life in a different way and allows Miley to demonstrate how much she’s grown, and that’s a really cool thing to see. To go from watching performances of this song from her as a young teen to watching her sing this as a young adult definitely makes me feel old, but it’s also amazing to see how far she’s really come. This country inspired version of the song especially is not only new and incredibly arranged, but showcases the songs flexibility and Miley’s development as a musical artist.
