Death Cab For Cutie – Transatlanticism

A picture of a crow with red thread in his mouth on a golden background. We can see the black words "Death Cab for Cutie" and "Transatlanticism" above the crow and the thread.

Choosing which Death Cab album is my favorite depends on my mood and the day, but choosing which of their cover art works is my favorite is a no brainer. The cover for Transatlaticism is a perfect representation of the album itself; mysterious and frustrating but aesthetically pleasing at the same time. This one does a really great job of linking the album’s content with the overall images it’s trying to portray, and every time I see or think about it, the title track starts playing in the back of my mind.
